Peter Andre reveals surprising new career dream for Eurovision after Mae Muller’s I Wrote A Song flops in Liverpool
PETER Andre has thrown his hat into the ring to replace Graham Norton when the popular Eurovision host eventually steps down.
The singer, 50, made the surprise admission in his latest column.
The 55-year-old has experience hosting major global events having fronted the latest Miss World contest in Puerto Rico.
He wrote: "I have to say, although nobody can fill Graham Norton's shoes as a commentator, I'd love to step in if he'd like a bit of a holiday in future, ha."
Pete also wished this year's UK Eurovision entrant Mae Muller well ahead of her performance, but it wasn't to be on the night.
Mae looked gutted as her track I Wrote A Song scored just 24 points and saw her finish second bottom.

Only Germany scored less, with their act Lord of the Lost netting only 15 points to finish at the bottom of the scoreboard.
In the early hours of Sunday morning, Mae, 25, took to twitter to share her thoughts with her fans.
"I just want to say thank u x I know I joke a lot but we really put our all into the last few months, not the result we hoped for but so proud of everyone & what we achieved on this journey," she wrote.
She added: "Congrats to all the countries. I'll never forget this journey and I love you all."

Mae ended the host with a heart emoji.
The singer, who hails from London, then showed her followers she was OK by posting a smiley snap on instagram.
Mae captioned the picture, which showed her looking away from the camera with her chin on her hand smiling, with the words: "It's camp x"
Saturday night's song contestant came live from the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool on behalf of Ukraine.
Twenty-six countries performed during the show, which ran for more than four hours, competing for the trophy and chance to host next year's Eurovision.
Mae was the final act to perform, but despite her favourable position, she lost out to Sweden's Loreen who scooped the crown for a second time with a whopping 583 points.
