He has a rare bone growth disorder called spondylo-epiphyseal dysplasia congenita, resulting in dwarfism.
Lisa was a dental nurse, but she gave up her job when Lenny was born, as his condition meant he was kept in hospital for 4 months after his birth.

Lenny Rush is best known for his role as Ollie on BAFTA-winner Daisy May Cooper's comedy drama series Am I Being Unreasonable?.
The six-part show first aired in 2022 and has since been confirmed for a second series, expected early in 2024.
Lenny won the Breakthrough Award and the Performance (Male) Award at the 2023 Royal Television Society Programme Awards for his role as Ollie, the son of Daisy May's character, Nic, in the show.
The teenage-actor also bagged the BAFTA for Male Performance in a Comedy Programme at the TV awards in May 2023.
He's best known for his role on Am I Being Unreasonable?, he Lenny started his TV career on the CBeebies docu-soap Our Family, after his mum, Lisa, applied.
A love of acting was sparked in Lenny: "I've sort of always been interested in acting, but Mum signed us in for Our Family and it’s got my whole family in it. I loved being in front of the camera so I went to an acting school and signed up with an agency called Quirky Kids.”
