Adam Thomas’ twin brother Scott reveals he was left baffled by I’m A Celebrity star’s gibberish during Bushtucker Trial
The former Love Island contestant said that he was left 'crying' as he watched his brother attempt the challenge
ADAM Thomas' twin brother Scott has revealed that he was left baffled while watching the I'm A Celeb star's Bushtucker Trial and admitted that even he couldn't translate what his brother was saying.
The 28-year-old, who appeared on Love Island in the summer, also said that he was "crying" at his brother's reactions to the spiders and other creepy crawlies he had to face.
Appearing on Lorraine this morning alongside former I'm A Celeb star Jake Quickenden, he said: "I expected something but that was just TV gold."
Lorraine Kelly observed that Adam had seemed to "develop his own kind of language" during the trial and asked whether he was able to translate.
He responded: "No, honestly... I'm his twin brother and I was absolutely lost on that one."
Scott suggested that it might just be his way of expressing what he's going through.
Viewers were left in stitches last night as they watched the Emmerdale star scream and grunt as he faced rotting vegetables, rats and spiders in Bushtucker Trial.
But Scott did say that despite his squeamish reaction, his twin was "not scared of throwing himself into anything" and that "he's a bit of a lunatic like that".
He added that on social media he is actively "pushing everyone to vote for him to do every trial" and that he and brother, ex-Corrie star Ryan, are keen to see Adam face his phobias.
Scott appeared on I'm A Celebrity Extra Camp last week after watching his brother take part in a challenge involving spiders, making the soap star completely freak out.
Speaking from the UK, the ex-Love Island contestant said: "I am absolutely gobsmacked".
He revealed that he had no idea that he was "that scared" but admitted that it was "TV gold", adding: "It was classic Adam."
Scott also claimed that Adam's fiance Caroline often had to deal with any spiders 'invading' the couple's home.
The reality TV star said that he had really warmed to Larry Lamb on the show, particularly with how he reacted to Adam's admission that he cried.
Speaking about whether he missed his brother, he said: "I actually do... I didn't think I would to be fair."
He added: "Adam's the smiler... he's like my best mate."
