KANYE West demanded his driver stopped their car in traffic so he could take a selfie with a fan on Sunday evening.
Before later being admitted to hospital for a “psychiatric evaluation,” the rapper greeted the concert-goer as he left his show in Sacramento after suffering an onstage meltdown and cancelling the rest of his tour.
Talking about his encounter, fan Patrick Star said: “When the show ended I quickly ran out to record him leaving.
“I noticed his window was half way down, so I called his name and asked for a pic and he invited me over.
“But the [traffic] light turned green and he yelled at the driver to stop. And that was about it.”
Before the meeting Kanye cut his show short after storming off stage and ranting about Jay Z after just three songs.
He later cancelled all remaining dates of his current Saint Pablo tour before being admitted to hospital.
A source told the New York Post: “He’s having a nervous breakdown. He’s surrounded by all these crazy people, but there’s nobody he listens to or who can rein him in.
“He’s spiralling further and further out of control… he is becoming more and more unpredictable.”
Kanye’s wife Kim Kardashian cancelled her first scheduled red carpet appearance since her terrifying gunpoint robbery in Paris on October 3 to be by her husbands side.
The reality star was pictured boarding a private plane to New York on Monday, where she was expected to join her family at the 2016 Angel Ball, but didn’t show up at the event and flew back to California.
Kanye's mother-in-law Kris Jenner has broken her silence on his current well-being.
Talking at The Angel Ball in New York last night, she said: "He's exhausted he's just really tired.
"He's had a gruelling tour and it's been a grind so he just needs some rest."
