Another source claimed Kanye was burned out from juggling his fashion line and music.
They revealed: "He's just exhausted. He’s been working around the clock on fashion design... balancing both that work and the rigours of the tour every night . . . really wore him out."
Kanye's mother-in-law Kris Jenner has broken her silence on his current well-being.
Talking at The Angel Ball in New York last night, she said: "He's exhausted, he's just really tired.
"He's had a gruelling tour and it's been a grind so he just needs some rest."
Kanye's wife Kim Kardashian cancelled her first scheduled red carpet appearance since her terrifying gunpoint robbery in Paris on October 3 to be by her husband's side.

After a fan noticed the superstar caught up in traffic, Kanye demanded his driver pulled up so he could take a selfie with the concert-goer.
Talking about his encounter with Kanye, fan Patrick Star said: “When the show ended I quickly ran out to record him leaving. I noticed his window was half way down, so I called his name and asked for a pic and he invited me over.

Last month Kanye fired thirty of his fashion label's staff after a "massive meltdown" following the poor critical reception of the chaotic launch of Yeezy Season 4.
On Sunday Kanye cancelled the remaining dates in his tour without giving a reason.

Los Angeles Times' music writer Gerrick Kennedy wrote: "Just got word from a source that @kanyewest informed his crew that remaining dates of US #SaintPabloTour are nixed."
Kanye shocked fans on Sunday when he arrived an hour late onstage in Sacramento and after three songs began his most Kanye rant to date.
He complained about the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards, saying: “Beyoncé, I was hurt because I heard that you said you wouldn’t perform unless you won Video of the Year over me and over Hotline Bling.”
He said Beyoncé was “great” but added: “Sometimes we be playing the politics too much and forget who we are just to win. F*** winning, f*** looking cool. F*** looking cool. F*** being cool.”
Turning to the subject of supposed best friend Jay Z, he continued: “Call me, brah, you still ain’t call me.
“Jay Z, I know you got killers, please don’t send them at my head. Just call me. Talk to me like a man.”
He had previous slammed his friend for failing to visit wife Kim Kardashian after her gunpoint robbery in Paris, during his Sacramento gig.
He ranted: “Don’t call me, after the robbery, and say, ‘How you feelin?’
“You wanna know how I’m feelin? Come by the house. Bring the kids by the house. Like we’re brothers. Let’s sit down.
"I can't take this s**t bro. Our kids have never even played together."
The crowd booed and hissed as Kanye continued, boasting: “This Saint Pablo tour is the most relevant (thing) happening.
“If your old a** keeps following old models, you’ll be Hillary Clinton.”
One fan also claimed Kanye spent five minutes onstage tying his shoe.
Before ending the show he added: “I’m not always going to say things the perfect way, the right way. But I’m going to say how I feel.
“Get ready to have a field day, press. Get ready, get ready. Because the show’s over.”
Snoop Dogg responded to Kanye's outrageous behaviour by posting a hilarious video slamming the rapper.
As he watched a clip of Kanye’s epic tirade Snoop, 45, gave running commentary and summed up what everyone else is thinking.
“This n****r crazy. Have you heard this n****r diss a n****r onstage? This n****r crazier than the s**t I got on my head,” he said in a video uploaded to Karen Civil’s Twitter.
“That n****r crazy. I can’t believe he’s still talking. He picked the wrong night to vent like that, them Sacramento n****rs ain’t feeling that s**t.
“He was talking that weird a** s**t. That’s just my thoughts.”
As he lit up, Snoop wondered: “I smoke weed. Weed don’t make you do that. What the f*** is he on?”
