I’m having more sex than ever – I feel sorry for Robbie Williams getting no action in his marriage, says Kelly Brook

SHE is the happiest and healthiest she has ever been – and Kelly Brook says it has done wonders for her sex life.

Ten months after marrying Italian model Jeremy Parisi, the nation’s most popular Nineties pin-up has revealed she has never felt so confident in the bedroom.

Robbie Williams told The Sun last month his sex life has all but dried up – 13 years after marrying actress and TV panellist Ayda Field

In a frank chat that will come as a huge relief to engaged couples up and down the country, Kelly, 43, credits a lifestyle overhaul for the best sex of her life.

Her comments are in stark contrast to fellow Nineties party-lover Robbie Williams, who told The Sun last month his sex life had all but dried up, 13 years after marrying actress and TV panellist Ayda Field, 43.

Robbie, 49, said: “Everyone knows there’s no sex after marriage.”

But Kelly’s wedded bliss debunks his claim.

She said: “Sex is better with age and, yes, also when you are feeling healthier as you are feeling more confident in your body.

“If I am training and I am eating well I definitely feel sexier.

“If you feel good then that definitely spills over to other areas in your life, for sure.”

She has said previously: “Your sex life gets better as you get older because you get confident. You are not so hung up on stuff.

“You know what you enjoy. You know what you like, so you are not as scared to tell them.”

Kelly married Jeremy, 37, during a lavish ceremony in the Italian town of Civitavecchia last July.

They met eight years earlier on social media.

Kelly, who co-hosts Heart Radio’s daily drive-time show with JK, said: “My life now has never been better. I am married.

“I have got my dog. I have a job I love.

“Honestly, it’s never been better.

“Yes, I am older and not as thin as I used to be but my life is 100 per cent better and I am definitely 100 per cent happier.

“I don’t think being thin makes you happy. Being healthy does.”

Kelly has previously told how she feared she would never find The One after enduring four very public failed engagements.

The lads’ mag favourite had a six- year relationship with Hollywood hardman Jason Statham, 55, from 1997 to 2003.

She met Titanic actor Billy Zane, 57, in 2005 and they dated for three years.

Kelly was with rugby ace Thom Evans, 38, from 2010 to 2013 and had a short-lived engagement to Gladiators star David McIntosh, 37.

But her luck changed when Jeremy, who grew up in France, caught her eye after sliding into her DMs on Instagram.

She said: “I guess everything did come together for me.

“For a long time I didn’t know if it was going to work out or if I would have everything but it has all come together.

“But I am older now so I make smarter decisions. It all comes with age and experience.

“I had a lot of fun in my twenties and thirties. I wouldn’t change that for anything.

“It has definitely made me a great wife, I would like to think. I am not selfish any more.”

The couple plan to return to Italy in July to celebrate their wedding anniversary, having missed out on a honeymoon.

Kelly said: “We have been together for a long time but being married changed things.

“For us, we definitely think more as a couple when it comes to the future and everything.

“Everything has blended together more.

“We are now in it for the long haul. Not that I wasn’t before but it feels more, ‘Oh we are really doing this now’.

“We haven’t had a honeymoon yet so I think we are going to do that in the next couple of months.

“We will go back to Italy where we got married and be with the family.”

Reflecting on their big day at the 19th-century villa, Torre di Cicero, Kelly said: “It rained during the wedding but only for 20 minutes.

“We managed to have the outdoor dinner. The ceremony got moved inside but the rest was outside.

“The rest was plan A, which was great. It was the best day of my life, to be honest. It was honestly wonderful.

“I liken it to living my life in technicolour and then I came back to England and it was all black and white.

“There were no opera singers or bands or flowers.”

Kelly has teamed up with SlimFast to front their Oomph For Your Boomph campaign, alongside rapper Big Narstie, 37.

The pair hope to highlight the importance of a positive mindset and the nutritional benefits of the brand’s daily shake.

Kelly said: “Being healthy and feeling good makes you happy.

“That is what this campaign is all about.

“These shakes are full of minerals and protein and they assist your healthy lifestyle.

“The idea that shakes are fads or unhealthy is wrong.”

Kelly admits her newfound confidence is also in part down to avoiding social media as much as possible.

She said: “I honestly don’t look at my phone much.

“I leave the phone in the kitchen and it stays there until one or two in the afternoon and I leave for work.

“I could be on my phone the whole day and I see people who do that and it’s not the best, is it? It’s not good.”

She now “accepts” the ageing process and vows not to cave in to the pressures of social media and being “Instagram perfect”.

She said: “I am 43 years old. You don’t need to look 20 in a picture.

“I need to get down with ageing. It’s not going to go away.

“It’s what we are all going to do. I have to start accepting the changes.

“There are still things you can do. You can put good things in your body.

“You can exercise. You can keep your weight down.

“You can do that to not only look great but feel great too. That is really important for me.

“I want to wake up with energy. I don’t want to wake up sluggish and tired, or that I can’t be bothered to get up and walk my dog.”

Rather than burning the candle at both ends, Kelly’s life is worlds away from her party-hopping days when she would frequent red carpet events and owned plush London nightclub Steam And Rye.

Now she goes to bed before 10pm and is up at the “crack of dawn” for quiet, reflective walks with her cavapoo Teddy.

Kelly said: “Health, it’s a lifestyle. It’s having early nights, drinking lots of water.

“It isn’t about living a boring life, it is being disciplined. That is the issue for many people, the discipline.

“When I was younger I could go all night and still get up for a shoot and work all day, things were so different.

“But you get past 35, your body is changing, hormones kick in. A late night for me is 10pm. I am in bed by 9.30pm every night.

“My lifestyle is completely different from how it used to be. I don’t miss it at all, though.

“I am so happy that I did it and I went from owning a nightclub to working with SlimFast and having early nights and feeling healthy and being up at the crack of dawn walking my dog in the woods.

“I love it.”
