Ex-Disney actress turned porn star Maitland Ward reveals former co-star supports her career… but ‘won’t watch’ videos
AN EX-DISNEY actress turned pornstar has revealed that her former co-stars wholeheartedly support her - with one key stipulation.
Redhead bombshell Maitland Ward burst onto screens on Boy Meets World in the late 1990s - but has since branched out into adult films.
She ventured into the world of porn in 2007, and said she didn't hear much from her former castmates.
But the 46-year-old revealed that some of her TV pals are supportive - including her Boy Meets World co-star Will Friedle.
The coming-of-age sitcom ran from 1993 to 2000 - it was produced by Disney and saw Maitland star in seasons 6 and 7.
She said: "Will Friedle was saying how supportive he was of me, but he won’t watch anything.

“I actually ran into Will at a Comic Con right after my first film was released.
“And he was like, ‘OK, I don’t want to see anything. I won’t see anything that you do, but I’m happy [that] you’re happy.’”
And the career change has been rewarding for Maitland, as she's already won two industry awards.
And it has proven lucrative, as her net worth is estimated to be around £2million.
She also spoke about her upcoming book release to : "I'm unapologetic about sex…but I think it's me in my truth and everything.
"When I was young, I was so apologetic for so many years. I will never apologise anymore.
"But I think now that I'm really open with myself and I can try new things and I'm not holding back or anything — I think that's really sexy."
Last month, the renowned redhead surprised fans as she debuted her lighter-looking locks on her Instagram story.
She shocked her followers after ditching the vibrant colour that has been a constant throughout her career.
But don't panic, as the California-born beauty hasn't completely got rid of her red - instead opting for a cooler shade.
Sharing a smiling selfie, Maitland asked her 1.8million followers: "Do we like the new red?"
She followed up the post with a series of snaps flaunting her new ginger look, which she seemed to be thrilled with.
The self-proclaimed "exhibitionist" previously revealed her hair colour helped secure her role on Boy Meets World, as producers loved the distinctiveness it gave her.
