Strictly Come Dancing star Ore Oduba to fill on This Morning for Phillip Schofield
Ore will swap his sequins for the This Morning sofa on Thursday as Phillip has other commitments
STRICTLY Come Dancing star Ore Oduba will be swapping the sequins for the This Morning sofa when he fills in for Phillip Schofield this week.
Ore will be joining Holly Willoughby to present the ITV show as Phillip has other filming commitments.
Ore recently said he's a huge fan of This Morning after appearing on the show earlier this month.
He tweeted: "Tried to play it cool on air... Now we’re done, can I just say I love . Thanks for having me.”
Speaking about landing his dream presenting gig, he said: “I’m really excited to be hosting This Morning with Holly. I’ve watched and loved the show for years. For me, it’s one of TV’s crown jewels.”
He added: “I can’t wait to meet the team and huge thanks to Phillip for allowing me to hop into his seat for the day.”
This Morning’s editor, Martin Frizell said: “It was great to see Ore enjoy his experience so much on the show recently, and being such a fan of the show I’m sure he’ll adapt his presenting skills brilliantly to the pace and variety of content throughout the morning.
"We look forward to welcoming him this Thursday.”
Meanwhile, Greg Rutherford was the latest dancer to leave Strictly this weekend.
Viewers were left reeling once again when Ed Balls was voted through to next week while Greg was in the dance-off with Claudia and AJ.
