Lindsay Lohan throws major shade at Ariana Grande in bizarre Instagram comments about her make-up
The actress went full Mean Girl at pop princess Ariana over her make up choices
ONCE a Mean Girl, always a Mean Girl.
Actress of indeterminate accent, Lindsay Lohan may have acquired a brand new way of talking, but she's not forgotten the old ways of throwing major shade at other celebrities.
Now the troubled starlett has decided to target singer Ariana Grande with some bizarre lowkey Instagram comments slamming her for her make-up use.
Taking a break from rehearsing Hairspray Live for NBC, the Into You singer posted a selfie with her co-star Dove Cameron, writing: "I really love you @dovewcameron #HairsprayLive @NBCHairspraylive"
And for some reason this set Lohan off and she decided to throw a slew of negativity at Ariana.
The former actress went full Regina George and posted witheringly: "Too much makeup."
While Ariana was silent on the shade, her fans launched themselves at Lohan's comment and weighed in with their own particularly vicious putdowns.
"And too much surgery for you," wrote one, while another said: "lol n some wouldn't hurt you."
A third added: "@LindsayLohan but your movie career didn't even last adult years. By the time you was 24 years old you already looked 42. Worry about yourself and career."
Ouch. Burn. Etc.
Lindsay used to be outspoken with her shade, but now it seems lucky that it's been reduced to Instagram comments as her new accent has left everyone confused about what she's actually saying.
During an interview the US star spoke in a voice that can only be described as a mixture of Greek, American, Russian and possibly Kingon.
Fans took to Twitter to brand her new vocal as “weird”, with some liking it to when Madonna adopted a British twang.
The actress was doing an interview with a reporter in Greece when her new European dialect was noticed.
Lindsay, who is mainly based in England and Greece and was recently in a relationship with a Russian billionaire, was explaining to the journalist about why she has opened up a Nightclub in Athens called Lohan.
She was keen to stress that her business partner, who she named as Dennis, wasn’t her boyfriend, she said: “Dennis, my friend, and that’s all he is, my friend and business partner.
“When I went through hardships with my ex, I found really, a good family in Istanbul from Greece.”
Twitter immediately lit up with comments about her accent, with one saying: “Omg what the f*** is up with Lindsay Lohan’s new accent? Literally like that time Madonna became British (sic)
Another fan said: “So weird. But I couldn’t stop watching."
