I’m A Celebrity bosses sign three-year deal to film show in Aussie jungle after land owner threatened to block them

Show has been filmed in Queensland since 2003

I’M A CELEBRITY chiefs have signed a deal to film three more years of the show in the Australian jungle.

It comes after land owner Craig Parker threatened to block ITV from using his land anymore — forcing them to consider alternative options.

But last week paperwork was signed and filed by both parties that will extend the show’s run in Dungay Creek, Queensland, where they have been since 2003, for three more future series.

An insider revealed: “ITV must have thrown a lot of money at the Parkers because they have managed to smooth this over in record time.

“They are ready to continue their professional relationship together and the council will without question agree to the extension.”

The Sun on Sunday revealed earlier this month how Craig “had them over a barrel” when negotiations broke down.

A source said: “The relationship between Craig and the bosses has badly broken down. He’s always found hosting the show on his land frustrating, but in the past has considered it worth the money they throw at him.”

New South Wales Police are currently investigating a complaint against Craig after a shed on the campsite was smashed up and a staff member was assaulted.
