TENSIONS exploded in the I'm A Celebrity camp tonight as newcomers Danny Baker and Martin Roberts locked horns in the first argument of the series so far.
After Danny and the yellow team came out triumphant from the latest Bushtucker Trial, he was accused by fellow campmates of "gloating" - with Martin hitting out at his behaviour.
"They were being pretty obnoxiously over-the-top and celebratory," Martin said, before adding: "To gloat like that sucks."
Martin and Danny - who entered camp together just days ago - later exchanged insults, with Martin comparing Danny's gloating to Wimbledon Final - while he hit back insisting it's just a game show.
It all began as the yellow team arrived back in camp following the trial, Larry Lamb cornered Wayne Bridge and warned him that people were a little annoyed by newbie Danny Baker’s gloating.
Meanwhile, Adam Thomas asked newcomer Martin Roberts: "How’s your chin? I thought you were only supposed to use your mouth in that last trial."
“Did I? I can’t remember” Martin replied.
To which a disgruntled Scarlett Moffatt said: “Stop winding people up Adam."
Before adding: “Please don’t gloat, be a good sportsman.”
“I am a good sportsman, it’s just a bit of banter,”Adam responded.
Addressing the entire camp, Adam asked: "Who’s gloating the most out of all of us?”
“Who do you think” Martin quickly responded.
Danny looked over as he knew he was referring to him, saying: “He’s convinced I’ve got it in for him, please don’t pretend I’m going around gloating because I’m not,” said Danny.
“I was just mad at that moment, you don’t get a Wimbledon with Andy Murray and him whooping if he wins.” Martin added.
Adam started to laugh and said: “I think I’ve just started our first camp argument.”
In full swing, Danny said: “Martin, it’s not a Wimbledon final, it’s a telly show for starters, you’re inventing this gloating, I have not done it.”
“You did” snapped back Martin.
“So tell us what I did?” asked Danny. “You gloated!” Martin hit back.
“So had it gone the other way, you’d have just said ‘well done yellow team'," Danny asked.
“If you’re a winner, you’re sensitive to the loser” Martin replied.
Danny quickly hit back: "Oh for the love of god, it’s I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here."
To which Martin pointed out: “Whether it’s a show or not we all have feelings.”
An upset Scarlett then got involved, saying: “I’m not liking this atmosphere at all, Martin has all this anger towards Danny and I’m confused why."
“Alright, alright, half time, time out.” Adam stepped in and said.
Talking in the Bush Telegraph, Danny later said of his campmate: “He builds up things in his head what he thinks has happened and when I point out it didn’t happen he goes no it did, it’s in your head Martin, I think he’s starting to be ‘I’m a big noise on daytime TV’.

The heated discussion continued with Martin asking his fellow campmates who thought Danny was gloating.
“Don’t involve me, I didn’t say anything.” Sam quickly said, while Wayne added: “Don’t put people in a bad situation, you shouldn’t be doing that.”
Talking in the Bush Telegraph, Wayne later said: “He was out of order what he was doing.”
Realising the carnage that had erupted, ex Emmerdale actor Adam then said: “Stop it now, stop.”
“Let’s just chill, it’s a game at the end of the day.” Scarlett pleases.
And Danny admitted: “It’s totally a game, the idea that we’re all walking around with chests puffed out is nonsense.”
Adam, Danny and Wayne later discussed the row on their way to the Jungle Spa, with Adam joking: “That was brilliant that.”
“Honestly Danny, that was comedy but he was making it worse.” Wayne added.
As Danny agreed, Adam said: “I started it off with that wooden spoon, it’s just so easy to get a bite out of him. You can’t come into camp on your second day and be like that.”
But not everyone saw the funny side, as poor Googlebox favourite Scarlett ended up in tears.
