MICHELLE Heaton was almost unrecognisable from a video taken while in rehab.
The former Liberty X singer, 43, took to Instagram to share her brilliant milestone that she was two years sober.
Back in April 2021 The Sun revealed Michelle had gone into rehab after turning to alcohol following severe medical issues.
The star has since then turned her life around.
In a clip uploaded to Instagram, Michelle said: "Today I wake up two years clean and sober. It wasn't always like this. I wans't always happy, joyous and free. I was suffering from the pain and terror of addiction."
Michelle, who took part in Dancing On Ice earlier this year, then shared a video of her from her first day in rehab, which highlights just how far she has come.

She captioned the post: "Today I wake up 2 years clean and sober …
"When I look back at that video I am reminded how far I have come. I still can’t believe how lost I was, frightened, embarrassed and so very sick.
"If I can do it YOU can .. Visit www.aa.org for more information. Today, I live a life happy joyous and free from the terror and pain of addiction."

Michelle struggled with the effects of a hysterectomy in 2012 and a double mastectomy in 2015 which she had to cut her high risk of cancer.
An early menopause before the isolation of lockdown then hit the married mum of two hard.
An insider said at the time: “She realised she needed to get help when she’d increasingly turned to alcohol as a crutch as she couldn’t cope with the effects of her operations.
“Michelle was left feeling like she had lost so much of what made her a woman and when she went into early menopause that brought with it a whole other collection of problems.
“She was just about coping when lockdown hit last year, but the effect of being at home and being unable to distract herself, saw her hit rock bottom.”
