I’m A Celebrity’s Martin Roberts gets VERY close to Sam Quek during task and viewers can’t cope
MARTIN Roberts sent I’m A Celebrity viewers into meltdown this evening as he got very close to Sam Quek during a task.
The Homes Under The Hammers presenter picked the stunning Olympian to be on his team for the the first part of Hungry Games and he wasn’t afraid to get up close and personal.

Speaking about his decision to pick her he said: “Sam’s an Olympian, you want someone in your team with Olympic spirit, winning is in her DNA.”
The pair went up again Danny Baker and Carol Vorderman as both teams stood in tanks and went head to head in four battles.
But it was Martin’s contact with Sam rather than bugs that got people talking – particularly when he decided to stand behind her and wrap his arms around her to help get a token.

Reacting to the scene viewers took to Twitter to discuss it, with one person asking: “Is there any real reason for chubby middle aged Martin to wrap himself round the young, athletic, good looking Sam in this trial? #ImACeleb.”

While another remarked: “Martin's getting a tad frisky in the tank there. The cad. #ImACeleb #Challenges.”
Others weren’t quite so polite about it though and commented on him being too ‘touchy feely’.
It didn’t seem to concern Sam, who has a long term boyfriend, though and she was more than happy for a helping hand.
During the task the first battle began which involved collecting tokens and placing them on corresponding images but they were not alone….15 eels in the water tank with 30 toads and 500 soldier crabs in the hell holes.

Both teams came close to finishing first but Martin and Sam just beat Danny & Carol. This meant
Martin got first pick of the remaining campmates to join his team and he and Sam picked Joel. Danny and Carol chose Wayne.
The second battle began, two padlocks to unlock with lots of keys to choose from. This time yabbies joined them in the water tanks and in the hell hole was 7,000 cockroaches, 1,000 crickets and 15 large spiders.
Danny and Carol won the round and chose Jordan whilst Martin & Sam chose Scarlett.

The third battle begun and they all had blindfolds placed over them – the hell hole was filled with green ants and 10 mud crabs joined them in the water tank. Carol screamed as the mud crabs joined her.
Danny and Carol won the round and chose Ola and Martin and Sam chose Larry.
The fourth battle was all about connecting star jigsaws but again they were not alone – the hell holes had a mixture of pythons in them and water dragons in the tanks. One of the water dragons jumped on Carol and she screamed.
Danny and Carol won the battle again and chose Adam whilst Martin and Sam chose Lisa.
This meant the teams were: Martin (blue team captain) – Sam, Joel, Scarlett, Larry and Lisa and then Danny (yellow team captain) – Carol, Wayne, Jordan, Ola and Adam
