Adam Thomas’ terrified reaction leaves fans in hysterics as brutal shower of critters leaves I’m A Celebrity stars wailing in SECOND Bushtucker Trial of the night

I'M A Celebrity star Adam Thomas had fans in hysterics tonight as he screamed and wailed in terror at the second Bushtucker Trial of the night.

The Emmerdale actor appeared to have a full blown meltdown as he struggled to keep his compsure, while thousands of critters rained down on his head.

While all the stars visibly struggled, Adam could barely contain his screams - and it received a huge response online.

One fan wrote: "Adam on I'm a celeb literally has me in stitches."

While another added: "In stitches at I'm a celeb."

And one wrote: "This is the best bit of I'm a Celeb so far hahahah."

The newly formed two teams played the second part of The Hungry Games.  Adam, Jordan, Ola and Wayne for the yellow team and Lisa, Scarlett, Larry and Joel for the blue team.

Scarlett read out the game instructions to the team.

“Celebrities – The Hungry Games continue, it’s time to get your hands on some Jungle critters as you go head to head in the second part of today’s trial – ‘to catch a falling critter’.  The winning team will eat this evening, the losing team will get basic rations.”

She continued: “Two members of each team will sit in the upper box and they must catch the critters that join them and pass down the pipes to their teammates in the lower box – who in turn must put them into a critter collector in front of them.  The winners are the team whose critter collector weighs the most at the end of the trial.”

The camp mates then discussed if having big hands would give them an advantage.

“I’ve got really big hands, hopefully I can grab them, we want to win, team blue all the way.” Lisa said.

“We’re one big happy camp family but when half of you are there feasting like Kings and the other half are scraping beans out of a pan – tensions may get high.” Jordan added.

Both teams tried to psych each other out before they began.

“I’m ready to go – as Boyzone said, when the going gets tough, the tough get going.” Adam said.

Larry and Scarlett and Wayne and Ola sat on the top deck whilst Joel and Lisa and Jordan and Adam sat below.

The game began and within seconds Ola was screaming as critters came pouring down on her.

“OMG, they’re all over me.” said Wayne.

Green ants followed and they started to bite everyone, “Arhh, they’re like nettles.” said Scarlett.

As more critters dropped on the camp mates, Scarlett started to scream, soon followed by Adam.

As the game ended it was revealed the yellow team were victorious winning the camp’s evening meal whilst the blue team would have to survive on rice and beans.

Larry looked at Scarlett and said “What a funny way to spend the afternoon.”

“I know!” said Scarlett.
