Danny Dyer reveals secret to 7lbs weight loss as he blasts exercise as ‘b******s’

DANNY Dyer has revealed his secrets to his 7lbs weight loss.

The former EastEnders star said he thinks "exercise is b******s" and has instead turned to starving himself for 16 hours a day.

Danny, 45, has forked out thousands to build a state-of-the-art gym in the garden of his Essex home in an attempt to lose some pounds.

He came up with the idea after his eldest daughter, Love Island star Dani, told him that she was worried about his health.

But the former soap actor admits that he hasn’t set foot in it.

He told : "I had a gym built and my intention was to start running. [But now] I don’t think it’s good for the heart.

"Exercise… I think it’s b******s."

Instead, Danny is now relying on a mix of yoga and intermittent fasting to shed some weight and has since lost 7 lbs.

While he hopes to continue to lose weight, the star said he's not willing to give up his guilty pleasures, which are "Stella and crackers".

He added: “My wife, sometimes she cooks me dinner. But if she’s cooking it with anger and banging pots around, it just tastes like s***."

“There’s a place called the Toby Carvery and you have to queue up for a roast… I’ve got a platinum card!”

Danny is sharing his love of food with his daughter in a new four-part series, Absolutely Dyer: Danny And Dani Do Italy, which kicked off on E4 last night (April 22).

He has also been fronting Scared of the Dark, which finished on Friday.
