OLLY MURS is inundated with marriage proposals – despite planning to tie the knot with Amelia Tank this summer.
Chatting exclusively backstage to Biz on Sunday as he kicked off his Marry Me UK tour, the singer revealed he was flattered to see fans turn up to his first show in bridal veils.
Asked if they still pop the question to him, he said at the OVO Hydro arena in Glasgow: “Yeah, it is mental! It baffles me really but it is incredible with all the veils.
“It looked insane from the front looking out.
“When I threw the bouquet in the audience during the first song of Marry Me it was a really funny moment.”
Olly also revealed his fans have welcomed his wife-to-be with open arms.

About Amelia, who appeared in a gold shimmer dress on screens during his track I Found Her, he said: “When I first came into this industry, I was single. When I got a girlfriend, I had to keep it secret, and I was like, ‘My fans will go off me and they won’t like me any more’.
“But with Amelia it has been so different. I was like, ‘F*** it. I’m not going to have this secret relationship. I am going to be open and honest’.”
He added: “They have embraced Amelia and there has never been anything negative or horrible.”
Despite his 22-date tour and upcoming wedding, the Troublemaker singer revealed he would also love to play at King Charles’s Coronation concert at Windsor Castle in May.

He said: “I am putting my hat in the ring! Glastonbury and the King’s Coronation are historic events.
“If I get the call, amazing, if I don’t, it is what it is. But it would be an honour to be a part of it.”
Stepping on stage in a white suit, Olly said he was “buzzing” to be back after the “craziest four years” and shed a tear as he dedicated Neil Diamond’s Sweet Caroline to his late friend Caroline Flack.
He then necked a shot of sambuca during I Hate You When You’re Drunk.
On whether the shot will be a fixture of the tour, he said: “I think that will stick but it might have to be showbiz secret water.
“I can’t be doing a shot every night.”

KAI’S BODY TALKING
STRICTLY professional Kai Widdrington admits dance is a way to “express yourself” away from macho sports.
Asked how it differs from toxic masculinity found in games such as football, he said: “Dancing is about expressing yourself from within.
“You just let your body do the talking – your feet do the talking.
“There are so many different people who are dancing. I am a very masculine dancer, if you like, but you equally have people who have different styles.”
Kai, who swapped football for dancing in his teens, was speaking alongside his girlfriend, fellow Strictly star Nadiya Bychkova, as they promoted a collaboration with Dune footwear.
He added: “There is a stigma but it is nowhere near as bad as when I was a child. It is definitely a lot cooler than when I was first doing it.”
BECKY vs THE BRITS AT COACHELLA
BECKY G nailed her performance as she took to the stage for the final weekend of Coachella.
The American singer stunned in a cut-out pink leotard and super-long talons at the festival in Indio, California.
Following her set, she said: “There are no words. It’ll take me a minute to process all that was these last two weekends.
“But for now, just… thank you.”
Elsewhere Gorillaz frontman Damon Albarn leapt from the stage to sing among their fans while Wet Leg’s Hester Chambers and Rhian Teasdale brought out Foo Fighters star Dave Grohl to scream during their track, Ur Mum.
He certainly gave Yungblud a run for his money…
CALVIN: EXES OFF ROCKER
CALVIN Harris appears to have beef with some of his famous exes.
He is now engaged to Vick Hope but the DJ’s former loves include Taylor Swift and Rita Ora.
When asked if he was still friends with any of them, Calvin said: “There’s a couple I definitely still speak to and a couple that are absolutely off their rocker.
“It just depends on the person really, so there’s no hard and fast rule.”
Calvin banned Rita from performing the hit I Will Never Let You Down, which they wrote together.
And Taylor’s presumed 2019 break-up song about him is called I Forgot That You Existed.
Meanwhile, Calvin stressed he has never dated Ellie Goulding.
He said on The Night Show with Mitch Churi podcast: “That’s a myth based on a music video but actually we strictly kept it professional 100 per cent of the time.”
“We never dated at all. It’s based on a video where we were running around kissing, so I get that people assumed that was the case. But that was the treatment and it suited the song.”
Got it.

Dermot Kennedy @ The O2, London
★★★★☆
DERMOT Kennedy had the sell-out crowd in the palm of his hands as he took charge of the O2.
The Irish singer-songwriter admitted his first show in London was to just 40 people and told the 20,000 fans last weekend: “Nothing’s changed but the rooms have gotten bigger.”
Each song was accompanied by visuals, starting with him performing Blossoms in near darkness and building to a strobe-display crescendo, while huge LED screens had the crowd bouncing to Power Over Me.

The highlight was Dermot performing Rome alone on a piano at the end of a small runway.
He’s certainly a man of few words, preferring to let the music do the talking.
