Fashion mogul appears to have taken tanning a step too far
LEGENDARY designer Valentino proved that orange really is the new black last night when he stepped out for a glitzy fashion party in New York.
The veteran turned heads as he arrived at the lavish Guggenheim International Gala in the Big Apple sporting an unusual bronze hue.
Valentino, 84, is well known for his love of tanning, and seemingly stepped up his preparations ahead of last night’s event.
He looked more than a little orange as he stepped out at the black tie bash alongside stars including Karlie Kloss, Kate Beckinsale and Anne Hathaway.
The fashion pack were out in force for the party, which is held to raise funds for the museum.
Stars from the world of fashion and film came together at the event, which was sponsored by Dior, and many of the guests chose to wear the fashion house’s designs to the event.
Kate Beckinsale wore a long, black Dior gown with gold trim.
Black was the colour of choice for most stars, including model Karlie Kloss, who opted for a long, spotty number.
Actress Anne Hathaway bucked the trend by heading out wearing a nude-coloured dress embellished with flowers.
