Joel Dommett conquers trial, the group enjoy a massage and two new camp mates enter… here’s what happened on tonight’s I’m a Celebrity
FEARS were conquered on tonight's I'm a Celebrity as Joel Dommett won 10 stars at his Bushtucker Trial - before the group indulged in a group massage.
Joel's face froze as he battled his fear of heights and a waterfall of cockroaches to bag the full 10 stars in his first I'm A Celebrity bushtucker trial.
The comedian even mustered enough energy to enjoy some banter with Ant and Dec after his ordeal, claiming he "felt like Sandra Bullock at the end of Gravity" as he emerged elated - and with the maximum amount of meals for his hungry campmates.
After the task, called The Great Ascent, he gushed: “I’m so happy, I’m so happy to make everyone proud.”
He added: “Yes, 10 stars to Dommett, I’m so happy, really happy to tell the ‘fam’.”
It was an action-packed night for Joel, as he also took part in a group massage session along with Carol Vorderman and Scarlett Moffatt.
The hands-on idea began when Carol, 55, woke up with a stiff neck, so Olympian Sam Quek decided to relieve her pain.
Speaking about the situation, Carol said: “Lots of people can give massages in this camp and I’m a very willing victim.”
It wasn’t long until Scarlett wanted in on the action and decided to join the massage train and started to give Sam a massage who was still giving Carol one.
The camp mates grew closer in more ways than one during the show, as they also had a deep discussion about their flaws.
Gogglebox star Scarlett, 26, led the discussion, revealing she lacked confidence and questioned why her boyfriend Luke was dating her in the early stages of their romance.
She said: "I have loads of flaws, I think I worry too much.
"I actually really don't have a lot of confidence.
When her camp mates told her she seemed self-assured, Scarlett insisted it was not the case.
She continued: "Nah, my mam always tells me to just chill out.
"I know this sounds stupid, but I always wonder why people like me. I know that sounds stupid but even when I got with Luke I was like, overthinking everything like, 'why are you with me though? because you could be with this person or this person'."
Model Lisa Snowdon also opened up, revealing her heartache over not having at children after Ola Jordan admitted she would like to be a mum one day.
She told her new friends: "It’s a weird one because it’s so hard. I left it kind of late. I didn’t find anybody that I wanted to actually be with and I didn’t want to have kids to just …”
“… Have kids” finished Ola.
“Yeah. I wanted that unit kind of thing. So maybe not in this lifetime."
Lisa, who has proudly showed off her amazing figure in camp, later added: "Children enrich your life so much, so of course I wanted to be a mum, it just didn't work out for me that way. It's tricky. It's hard. It's been something that I've had to deal with. People think it's not too late, but it's not always that easy."
The camp mates didn't have too long to reflect though, as hosts Ant and Dec surprised them with the news that they were being joined by two new celebrities, Danny Baker and Martin Roberts.
And within minutes of entering camp, the pair were told they'd have to face a Bushtucker Trial in tomorrow night's show.
Choosing a partner each, Danny picked out Carol Vorderman, while Martin chose Sam Quek for trial Rank Tanks.
And not done there, Ant and Dec later revealed more celebs would have to face a LIVE trial in tomorrow night's show.
