RACHEL McAdams has shown off her armpit hair after revealing her regret at turning down a major Hollywood role.
The actress, 44, took part in a barely-edited photoshoot which saw her lounge on a velvet sofa with her armpit hair on show.
Rachel, who is a mum to a son and daughter, switched up outfits for the photos, wearing a stunning floor length white gown in one and a black bodysuit and trousers for another.
As the star turned her head to one side, she displayed a stunning but minimalist makeup look and let her highlighted locks tumble in loose waves past her shoulders.
Rachel, whose partner is American screenwriter Jamie Linden, told : “With this shoot, I’m wearing latex underwear. But I’ve had two children. This is my body, and I think that's so important to reflect back out to the world.
“It’s OK to look your best and work at it and be healthy, but that’s different for everyone.”

The gorgeous superstar, whose movie credits include The Notebook, Mean Girls, The Vow and Wedding Crashers, is set to star in a new film named Are You There God? It’s Me Margaret.
She also opened up on her break from Hollywood in 2010, which saw her turn down roles in the likes of The Devil Wears Prada, Casino Royale, Mission: Impossible III and Iron Man.
On turning the roles down, Rachel said: “I felt guilty for not capitalizing on the opportunity that I was being given, because I knew I was in such a lucky spot.
“But I also knew it wasn't quite jiving with my personality and what I needed to stay sane.”

She believes the right people landed the roles in the movies though, and continued to say of her brief acting hiatus: “It's taken years to understand what I intuitively was doing.
“I guess I always had a sense that it would be OK; either it’s going to work out or it’s not.
“'It helped me feel like I was taking back some control. And I think it sort of allowed me to come in from a different doorway.”
