Alex said to the singer: "We have to talk about Bake Off", to which Jesy replied: "Oh my god, don't."
But the pair soon started laughing after Alex diffused the situation by also claiming to be terrible at baking.
Thankfully for the former Little Mix star, her latest attempt at becoming a solo artist has been well received unlike her previous single Boyz.
Jesy faced huge backlash from fans who accused the star of blackfishing, which is when a white person tries to imitate a black person.
