I’m a Celebrity Scarlett Moffatt leaves her campmates in stitches with her theory about time travel and how she emailed Stephen Hawking to get his opinion

SCARLETT Moffatt revealed her very own theory on time travel, much to the amusement of her I'm a Celebrity campmates.

The jungle buddies were chatting round the fire when the Gogglebox star revealed she had even contacted genius Stephen Hawking to get his opinion on her idea.

It all started when Sam Quek told Scarlett she recently met Professor Hawking at an awards ceremony and was star-struck.

Scarlett then chipped in, “I once emailed him because I had a theory about time travel.”

She then started to tell Sam, Lisa and Adam her theory, saying: “In order to travel back in time we have to go faster than the speed of light.

"The speed of light is like 319 and then loads of numbers, it’s exactly the same latitude point as the tip of the great Pyramid.

"So I think the pyramids are from the future, I think someone from the future realised we would need them and went back in time and built them.”

Lisa Snowden then asked: “And you contacted Stephen Hawkins with this theory?”

Scarlett replied: “Well I was trying to look for his email address but it was a Hotmail account so I’m not too sure it’s real.”

This caused the campmates to start laughing.

Meanwhile, viewers have been tweeting to say how funny they are finding Scarlett.
