Stephanie Davis admits ‘excruciating pain’ was so bad she wanted to be ‘knocked out’ as she opens up on hospital dash for the first time
The actress has thankfully made a full recovery and looking ahead to her little boy's birth
TRAUMATISED mum-to-be Stephanie Davies has opened up on the "excruciating pain" which prompted a frenzied hospital dash as she feared for the wellbeing of her baby.
The reality TV star sparked fear among her followers when she failed to update her social media pages for a few days earlier this month.
Stephanie has now revealed for the first time the sheer discomfort which prompted urgent medical attention in the early
during her recent hospital dash in the early hours of the morning.
In her - the first for two weeks after she put her updates on hold to focus on her health - she wrote: "I just wanted to be knocked out. I just didn't know what was going on – whether it was me or the baby.
"I was seeing black dots, going dizzy, being sick and scarily, passing blood. I also lost some water so me and my mum were worried my waters had broke but we soon realised it wasn't that."
The ex Hollyoaks star, who claims her Celebrity Big Brother ex Jeremy McConnell is the father to her unborn child, has endured a rollercoaster first pregnancy.
In August, she told ITV's Loose Women about another medical emergency which saw another trip to hospital when she believed she was having contractions.
Yet in her new opinion piece for the magazine it seems she has made a full recovery.
She wrote: We're still doing some tests as we're unsure of what exactly happened but the baby was totally fine and I'm feeling much better now. I couldn't have all the tests they needed because I'm pregnant but after a week in the hospital I was happy to get home and rest."
She added: "I've been much more careful and trying to stay as stress-free as possible. But as soon as I found out my son was okay I felt much better. We know for sure he's a true fighter now!"
Straight after she was released from hospital she was eager to let fans know she was OK.
"She took to Twitter to write: “Hi everyone just wanted to let you all know I’m finally home and on the mend.
“Thank you so much for all your lovely messages and continued support over the last week. It really means a lot.
“Love always Stephanie and Bump xxx”
During the ordeal, her rep told us: “We can confirm Stephanie has been in hospital since Wednesday 2nd November due to an illness and is currently undergoing further tests.
"We would like to confirm that Stephanie has not given birth and her unborn baby boy is doing well."
