A RENOWNED South Korean model and star of Netflix's Zombie Detective has died at the age of 26.
Jung Chae-yul's management announced her death on Tuesday but a cause has not yet been released.
Her management agency confirmed the tragic news on their social media as her last Instagram post has gone viral.
They said: "We are here to deliver heartbreaking news. Actress Chaeyul has left us.
"Her funeral will be held privately in accordance to the wishes of her family, who must be in greater sadness than anyone else.
“We hope you pray for the deceased so Chaeyul, who was also sincere in her acting, may rest in peace.”

Her fans have been shocked by the news and flooded her Instagram with their sorrow, creating a sort of shrine under her last post before she died.
Chaeyul can be seen with headphones on, posing in a photo with a glass of water.
A grieving follower said: "You became a star in the sky at such a young age.. Hope you're comfortable there."
One fan said: "Such a heart-breaking news, may she rest in peace."

The starlet was an emerging super power in the world of Korean Dramas, and starred in Deep, I Have Not Done My Best Yet, and reality television shows.
She gained fame for her appearance in Zombie Detective, which gained a heavy following after airing on Netflix.
Her management agency's CEO, Lee Soo Haeng said the actress was very hardworking.
He continued: "She was a deep-hearted and cool friend. In my opinion, it is hard to describe in words how amazing she was as an actress."
