Tallia Storm reveals shock career change away from music as fans gush ‘you’re gonna kill it’
TALLIA Storm has revealed a shock career change away from music.
The 24-year-old singer has landed her first-ever radio gig at Capital Scotland breakfast, it was revealed today.
The social media sensation will be joining presenter Fat Brestovci on the airwaves from 6am to 10am on weekday mornings.
It comes just weeks after Tallia released her latest track Addicted.
The musician said having her own radio show was a "dream come true" and she told of her excitement at returning home to Scotland.
Tallia also revealed she wants to get fellow Scot Lewis Capaldi in on the fun.
Speaking after the announcement, she said: "Having my first ever radio gig on Capital in my hometown with Fat is such a dream come true and a full circle moment. I grew up listening to Capital on my way to school, so it means the world to be back in Scotland and a part of the Capital family.
“Scotland holds such a special place in my heart, and I’ve been looking for the right opportunity to come home so I’m really excited about this new role – bring the banter and waking up the nation with Fat.
"We’re both obsessed with music and pop culture so it’s literally a match made in heaven. We’re hoping to have some iconic guests on the show too, I’d love to get Lewis Capaldi in, I can’t stop listening to his new album and watching his hilarious videos.
“We’re going to be bringing the energy, chaos and top hits all morning long and I’m so excited to get started and make some new friends along the way.”

Since emerging on Spotify in 2017, with her album, Teenage Tears, the singer has made her claim to fame in all areas of media.
She has published two novels and was awarded Best New Artist at the 2019 Boisdale music awards.
She even took part in the fourth series of Celebs Go Dating alongside London Hughes, Sam Thompson and Gemma Collins.
Tallia also starred in E4's All Star Driving as well as hosting WE Day at Wembley Arena, debating on ITV's Good Morning Britain in 2020.
She has worked as a presenter for the red carpet of the Radio 1 Teen Awards, London Fashion Week, and TedXTeen at the O2 for Nile Rodgers.
Tallia recently revealed she’s single after calling it quits with footballer boyfriend Harvey Vale over the summer after nearly a year of dating.
Speaking to The Sun, Tallia admitted she could be intimidating to men and hinted that her busy schedule might have been behind the break-up.
She said: “I'm very single. I think it's difficult. I think I am very intimidating.
“I scare a lot of guys away but I think it's because I'm super focused on my career and my work and I need a guy to match that.
“And I'm a Scorpio so I come across scary and that's just hard to get.
“Nowadays, you got to give a guy a chase otherwise you know, they just scroll on Instagram and there’s another blonde, with better abs and better butt.
