Katie Price’s ex Kieran Hayler has air rifle seized by cops after he was arrested
POLICE seized an air rifle from reality star Katie Price’s ex after he was arrested amid allegations he had made threats to fire it.
Kieran Hayler, 36, was detained by officers on Saturday on suspicion of a firearms offence.
He was freed from custody yesterday just after midnight following questioning and smiled as he was driven from a police station in Worthing, West Sussex.
Personal trainer Kieran and his fiancee Michelle Penticost, 40, later put on a united front with their kids at the family home in the village of Northchapel in the county.
Sussex Police officers swooped on the semi-detached property at 4pm on Saturday.
A source said: “Kieran’s air rifle was taken as is standard procedure in an investigation like this.

“Police were acting on claims made over a week ago that he had allegedly threatened to use it.”
And a spokesman for Mr Hayler told The Sun yesterday: “Kieran’s air rifle is perfectly legal — he is confident he has not done anything wrong.
“He is a good, gentle person who wouldn’t hurt anyone, so news of his arrest was a shock. Sadly, there is malicious intent by the people behind it. But he is looking forward to clearing his name.”
Neighbours had told of their shock at seeing police officers turn up at the home that Kieran shares with former air hostess Michelle.

One witness told The Sun on Sunday: “It was very dramatic, a police van and car suddenly turned up on the driveway of their home.
“We later heard it involved a gun, which was quite frightening.”
Kieran was arrested on suspicion of possessing a firearm with intent to cause fear or violence and child neglect.
Former stripper Kieran and Katie, 44, married in 2013 but split in 2018.
The pair, who have kids Jett, nine, and Bunny, eight, together finalised a divorce two years ago.
Kieran and Michelle are engaged and they had baby Apollo in 2021.
Valentino, 12, who is Michelle’s child from a previous relationship, also lives with them.
Yesterday Katie shared a cryptic post which read: “A person’s true colours will always show within time. You may be fooled for the moment, but be patient and see what happens.”
She went on to say: “He’s a disgusting human being. I’m just trying to protect my children.”
