Emmerdale’s Chrissie White confesses to framing Andy Sugden after being held at gunpoint by Diane
The scheming millionaire was finally forced to confessed after B&B landlady Diane shot up her office with a shotgun
Chrissie White has finally admitted to framing Andy Sugden for murder in Emmerdale.
The scheming millionaire - who is played by actress Louise Marwood - framed her ex Andy, Diane's step-son, for the attempted murder of herfather after her son Lachlan shot him.
After discovering the secret, ex Woolpack landlady Diane has been on a mission to get Chrissie and Lachlan to confess, and now she's taken drastic action.
Confronting Chrissie at Home Farm, Diane grabbed a loaded shotgun and forced Chrissie to confess.
Barging into the house, Diane told her: "Sorry, but I really need you to see things from my point of view.
"You're a mother, not a very good one admittedly, but I can understand why you covered for Lachlan - you didn't want him to be taken away from you and put in prison so you must have an inkling of how I'm feeling now Andy's been taken away from me."
Unmoved, Chrissie hit back at Diane and taunted her about Andy, which proved to be a mistake.
"You will listen to me, whether you like it or not," a desperate Diane told Chrissie as she grabbed the loaded shotgun and took aim.
Former farmer's wife Diane aimed the shotgun like a pro and took out a White family picture, forcing Chrissie to begin spilling the beans.
"He arranged to have Robert shot, you didn't know that did you?" she told a shocked Diane.
"He wanted his own brother killed in cold blood - that's what good, honest Andy's really like."
As Chrissie began to talk Diane down, she finally confessed to her and Lachlan's crimes.
"I know that I've ruined lives but mine's been ruined too," she said adding: "I can never tell anyone what he did because I can't really admit it to myself because then I'd have to accept what he is and I'm terrified of him.
"Diane, I'm scared of my own son. He told me that he shot dad by accident but sometimes he gets so mad I'm not sure he didn't mean to pull the trigger."
"I'm sorry for Andy, I'm sorry for all of it, but I will never give Lachlan up. Because whatever he's become, it's not his fault - it's mine."
Unfortunately for Chrissie, Lachlan overheard nearly every word and was left heartbroken with the realisation that his mother was scared of him.
After all he only sexually assaulted Alicia, shot his grandfather and tried to blackmail approximately half the village.
Later, despite Chrissie's assurances that she was lying to Diane, Lachlan played the clip he recorded over and over again as he became increasingly more angry.
But will he snap and target his mum in another vicious game?
