Joey Essex shows off his exotic home pool in Essex with palm trees and an elephant

FORMER Towie star Joey Essex has never shied away from extravagance – and his home reflects just that.

The 32 year old reality TV star, who is thought to be worth £6million, found fame on The Only Way Is Essex in 2011. And he bought his £1.6m pad when he was just 24.

Resembling a villa in Ibiza or the Spanish city of Marbella, Joey’s sprawling outdoor pool is surrounded by palm trees, an elephant and four poster sun loungers.

This is not the first time fans have seen Joey’s home. The star was doing a video link with This Morning host Philip Schofield, following Joey’s stint on Celebrity SAS Who Dares Wins.

This Morning viewers were just as impressed as Philip by Joey’s lavish home.

One fan wrote: “Joey Essex looks like he lives in Marbs with that ‘Garden’. Not a weed in sight.”

Another said: “Joey Essex has got a lovely house. It’s like he’s on the other side of the world.”

Taking to social media, the Dancing On Ice star proudly showed off his backyard with a video.

And while the reality TV star is enjoying the dizzy heights of stardom, it seems his love life needs a push in the same direction.

While on the skating show, which saw Joey achieve second place with his skating partner Vanessa Bauer, fans were convinced the pair were set to become a couple.

And this was further fuelled when Joey claimed that the pair will take things day by day.

Speaking ahead of the Dancing On Ice final, Joey told The Mirror: “Me and Vanessa have a great bond, we’ve always gotten on well with each other since day one.”

He added: “It’s very special and I think it would be quite nice to see what’s going on in the outside because we’re just mainly in the the ice rink to be honest. We’re taking it day by day.”
