RYLAN Clark has led stars paying tribute to Paul Cattermole after he was found dead at home.

Today it was confirmed S Club 7 singer Paul had passed away aged 46 just weeks after the band confirmed plans to reunite for their 25th anniversary.

Following the shock news celebrities took to social media to pay tribute and send condolences to Paul's family, friends and bandmates.

Rylan, 34, tweeted: "@sclub7 sending all the love to you all xxx."

Scottish broadcaster Lorraine Kelly described Paul as "gentle and shy" as she paid tribute to the singer.

"This is so sad. Lovely man and he was so looking forward to the #sclub7 reunion," she tweeted.

"Interviewed them all many times and struck by how gentle and shy he was."

Lizzie Cundy wrote: "So shocked and sad to hear S Club 7 Paul Cattermole has passed away. Such a lovely guy . All my thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends."

Actor Jeremy Edwards - who was previously engaged to Paul's bandmate Rachel Stevens - said: "RIP Paul Cattermole. My thoughts and love go to all your friends and family."

Loose Women's India Willoughby shared her thoughts, writing: "Such sad news. Paul was always my favourite. Cheeky smile. Be with the brightest stars now.

As news broke of Paul's passing, Rachel, Hannah Spearritt, Tina Barrett, Jon Lee, Bradley McIntosh and Jo O’Meara posted on social media: "We are truly devastated by the passing of our brother Paul.

"There are no words to describe the deep sadness and loss we all feel.

"We were so lucky to have had him in our lives and are thankful for the amazing memories we have.

"He will be so deeply missed by each and every one of us.

"We ask that you respect the privacy of his family and of the band at this time."

The Sun understands there were “no suspicious circumstances” surrounding his death.

He had been set to join his former bandmates for a reunion tour in October this year.
