Posting a picture of himself and his estranged wife, the handsome business development manager didn’t rule out them working things out in the future.

In a passionate post, he told fans: “This married at first sight thing has sent us both round the bend - I'm very lucky to have met Melissa and intrigued to know where the future will take us!

“Melissa is an amazing woman who is beautiful, funny and everything I could ask for as a wife - the time apart will give us a chance to properly date and get to know each other in normal circumstances.

Just last week a source told of us their relationship: “Clark had told all his friends that they are no longer together.

Viewers were left devastated tonight after the pair – who told each other they loved each other – made the shock decision to call it quits.

Initially the pair told the experts they would be staying together despite struggling with their decision about where to live.

Clark told his mate: “It is starting to become a little more real. Is this really the right thing to do? Have I made a mistake? In layman’s teams it’s made me s**t my pants a little bit. I am at breaking point.  It’s so much stress, if it was any other situation, honestly, I probably would have jumped shipped."

However he did make the move to Milton Keynes – only for the couple to decide it would be better for them to go their separate ways.

They were the third couple on the show who could not make it work as Adam and Sara also split, as did Steve and Lucie. Just Adam and Caroline managed to survive.
