'I AM UTTERLY DISGUSTED!'

Emmerdale fans go ballistic after Robert Sugden CHEATS on Aaron Dingle by kissing Rebecca White

Viewers weren't happy that Robert didn't push his ex away

EMMERDALE fans were utterly furious after watching Robert Sugden appear to cheat on beloved Aaron Dingle with Rebecca White on tonight's episode.

Rebecca (Emily Head) went in for a deep kiss - and Robert (Ryan Hawley) didn't seem too perturbed by it and even leaned in, putting a hand on her shoulder.

Eventually, he pulled away and said: "Becks, we can't."

Rebecca responded by simply saying that "of course" they could.

Robert glanced guiltily at the door before turning back to his ex, unsure.

And the legion of Robron fans were seething at their tellies, clearly not expecting him to have kissed back.

After all, Robert had proposed to lover Aaron (Danny Miller) just weeks ago.

One viewer wrote: "No! #emmerdale WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!!!!!!!!"

A fan tweeted: "#emmerdale destroying months of character growth again. anyone else surprised??? maybe i'll just stop watching canon and just ship #robron".

Another agreed: Congratulations #Emmerdale you've just undone 2 years of character development in less than 20 seconds #Robron @emmerdale."

One fan pleaded: "Can Robert Sugden morph back into his October self pls".

While another angrilly wrote: "DISGUSTING. AARON DESERVES SOMEONE LOYAL TO HIM. "NOW IS NOT THE TIME?" WTF ROBERT? SO LATER IT CAN STILL HAPPEN?? WOW F*** THIS #emmerdale."

A viewer agreed with an angry emoji: "Robert!!! Do you remember your fiance Aaron?!"

Some, however, were convinced that it was some sort of ploy by Robert.

One fan tweeted: "Desperately wishing it was all part of some elaborated plotting or so help you God, dear Robert & @Emmerdale !!! #emmerdale #robron".

We can only hope.
