Who is Zahida Allen? Geordie Shore new girl and Ex On The Beach star
ZAHIDA ALLEN is the latest Newcastle native to make headlines with her reality TV antics.
Fresh from the Ex On The Beach villa she is now starring in series 14 of Geordie Shore.
Who is Zahida Allen?
Zahida, 22, from Newcastle, worked as a cocktail bartender at ultra-hip toon nightspot Please To Meet You before joining the Ex on the Beach cast.
Also, this year she starred in UK Power Pageant, earning the chance to represent Newcastle in Miss International, Miss Grand, Miss Intercontinental and World Super Model UK.
In 2012, she won the England final of Miss Earth Earth to earn a spot at the finals of Miss Earth in the Philippines.
She paid tribute to the experience in a Facebook post thanking friends and family for their support in a pageant “where it’s all about helping others”.
“I spent a month in the Philippines competing but also spent a lot of time doing charity work in schools, orphan homes, hospitals and shelters,” she wrote.
“I met some people who I will never forget and made some friends for life.”
When did she join Geordie Shore?
Zahida Allen is one of the new girls joining the cast of Geordie Shore for series 14 of the hit MTV reality show.
Alongside newcomers Abbie Holborn, Billy Phillips, Elettra Lamborghini, Eve Shannon, Sam Bentham, Sarah Goohart and Chelsea Barber, we’ll have to wait and see if she makes it onto the full cast.
The Geordie lass has been making waves and causing a stir with the cast - and making enemies and friends in the process.
Cast member Chloe Ferry was allegedly booted out of the house after a violent bust-up with Zahida, who she apparently attacked in a jealous rage after seeing her holding hands with her on-off boyfriend Marty McKenna.
But the girls kissed and made-up and were soon spotted larking about and having a giggle as they filmed more scenes for the MTV show.
Zahida was brought in after Charlotte Crosby quit during the summer, finally calling time on her on-again off-again romance with Gaz Beadle.
And Chantelle Connelly took the decision to leave while they were partying across the Mediterranean for series 13 to return home to her boyfriend Tommy – but their relationship was short-lived.
Holly Hagan also decided not to return after their island-hopping summer, while Scotty T is missing this series because of prior commitments.
The new series will air on MTV around April time.
What happened to Zahida on Ex on the Beach?
Zahida took on a "Charlotte Crosby style" sense of humour, making outrageous jokes and always being brutally honest.
While viewers didn't initially know what to make of the self-confessed "bunny-boiler" she continued to grow in popularity as the show continued.
Zahida's ex Joe McLean was the first to come in, joining the house after she had already had a first night bonking session with tattooed muscleman Sean Pratt.
After a rather unromantic sexual encounter with Maisie in the "penthouse" Joe decided to leave as he couldn't be around Zahida.
Are Zahida and Sean still together?
Yes they are. Zahida was instantly attracted to Sean and despite the rocky start - where he rated her skills in the bedroom a five out of ten - they have found love.
Sean ended up getting a tattoo with Zahida going all out and getting a matching one herself and the couple have even said they want to be the first couple to marry off the back of the show.
