I’m a Celebrity’s Carol Voderman turns to a toad for comfort in the jungle as her other campmates sleep

CAROL Voderman has already made a friend in the jungle... but he's a bit slimier than her other campmates.
The maths whizz couldn't sleep, so instead started confiding in a toad.

Dancer Jordan Banjo revealed how he woke up in the middle of the night to find Carol still awake, he said: “I woke up, it’s still the middle of the night and Carol’s sitting there around the campfire on her own.”

Viewers saw Carol suddenly jumped from her chair as a big toad appeared, with her exlaiming: “Ooooh you little monkey.”
The former Countdown babe then moved closer to the toad: “Don’t you look at me like that, we can have a chat. It’s just the two of us, halt! Who goes there, friend or foe?”
She then got even closer to the toad “I’ve got frog eyes too, you’re a big boy aren’t you?”

Later the following morning Carol reflected in the Bush Telegraph on meeting her new friend. “It was quite nice talking to him, nobody else was awake to talk to, and so I quite like my toad.”

The campmates were then seen talking around the fire, with Scarlett saying: “Carol was telling me she found two toads this morning.”
Then sam added: “I’m so glad I didn’t see a toad, I’d have struggled to sleep” .
