Kerry Katona reveals fiance Ryan has adopted one of her kids after dad’s tragic death
KERRY Katona has revealed her fiance Ryan Mahoney has adopted one of her kids.
The move came after her youngest daughter Dylan-Jorge's dad’s tragic death.
The 42-year-old star's ex-husband George Kay sadly died back in 2019, leaving behind little DJ, who is now eight.
Kerry - who is also mum to Molly, 21, Lilly-Sue, 20, Heidi, 16, and Max, 14, - has now revealed that Ryan has stepped up to legally adopt the little girl as his own.
Speaking in her weekly she said: "Me and Ryan won’t be getting married any time soon, but when we do, it will be a shotgun wedding in Vegas.
"For now, we are going through the adoption papers for Ryan to adopt DJ as I found out she wanted to call him Dad.

"She doesn’t remember her biological father, George, so I think if it’s something she wants to do, then that’s completely up to her."
Kerry and George met when they were at school together but started dating in 2012 after bumping into each other in Warrington.
They married in September 2014, five months after she had their daughter Dylan-Jorge, but split in 2015 and divorced two years later.
Sadly George died aged just 39 on July 6, 2019.

Meanwhile, in the same OK! column, Kerry revealed that she had recently been left "disappointed" with her five children.
She said she felt "upset" that she only got given one card from her children on Mothers Day.
Kerry expressed her anger over the fact that only her 16-year-old daughter Heidi bought her a card to mark the momentous occasion.
"There was such a lack of effort from them and Ryan. It’s one day a year. Us mums deserve to be showered with love," she said.
