DESPITE singer Sam Lavery being kicked out of The X Factor on Sunday while “rapper” Honey G reigns supreme, the teen has dismissed any accusations that the show has been fixed in Honey G’s favour.
Audiences were adamant that The X Factor must be fixed when Honey G said she already has a song prepared for next week just seconds after the theme was announced, however Sam insists that it’s just because the IT worker turned rapper has a song for every theme.
“I never heard that [she said that], but Honey G’s always working and she’s probably got a song for every theme, she works so hard,” Sam exclusively told The Sun Online.
“But the thing I like about her most of all is that she knows what she wants to do and who she is, she knows what suits her and she goes out and smashes it every week.”
The 35-year-old also caused controversy when she threw gang signs while the contestants performed a song in memory of our war heroes, but Sam, 17, is certain she didn’t mean to offend.
“She was standing next to me, but it’s just Honey G isn’t it?” she said.
“When she’s onstage she moves with the song no matter what song it is, she just moves with the song.
“She never does anything to be negative, it’s just the way she is, she feels good. This is her all the time.”
And for everyone hoping for a Scotty T and Sam love story after she declared she thought the Geordie Shore hunk was “amazing”, you’re in for a disappointment.
“I meant [he was] funny, obviously nothing like that, then the next day apparently I have this massive whole thing for Scotty T.
“I’m alright thank you, I think I’ll stick to just me.”
Sorry Scotty, pet.
