ANT McPartlin and Declan Donnelly have caused controversy on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here after not wearing poppies during some parts of the show.

Although the pair wore their poppies during the live sequences on Sunday night, viewers noticed how they didn’t have them on during some of the pre-recorded segments.

Fans of the hit ITV show first noticed their poppies were missing as Ant and Dec met the camp mates at their hotel and during the Walk The Plank task.

Although the celebrities, including Carol Vorderman and Joel Dommett, wore theirs with pride during the task – Ant and Dec didn’t appear to have theirs on.

Some viewers were upset and accused the pair of lacking respect.

One irate fan wrote: “Ant and Dec show your respect, no poppies disgrace.”

Another tweeted: “Watching @imacelebrity and wondering why @antanddec are only wearing poppies for the link ups.”

Other fans just couldn’t work out why it was different for the Geordie duo, with one commenting: “Celebrities wearing poppies. Why are Ant and Dec not wearing them?? Disrespectful.”

Another viewer said: “Why are the contestants wearing poppies but Ant n Dec not?”

A third wrote: “All the celebs wearing #poppies but where's yours @antanddec #tuttut @imacelebrity.”
Ant and Dec aren't the first to cause a stir on Remembrance Sunday, with X Factor star Honey G tweeting during the two minute silence on Sunday.

As the clock hit 11:01 am – one minute into the nationally observed silence – Honey wrote to her fans on Twitter.

She tweeted: “Get Voting For Honey G to go all the way through to The X Factor final.”

At the same time, the country had stood still as a mark of respect to those servicemen and women who fought for the United Kingdom.

It seemed the 35-year-old, real name Anna Georgette Gilford, quickly realised her mistake however as she later deleted her tweet.

The rapper has already come under fire this week for admitting she’s taken Class A drugs.
