THE cream of the acting world were out in force for this year’s London Theatre awards.

Leading the glam stakes were Liz Hurley, Billie Piper and Sheridan Smith.

Hollywood hunk Orlando Bloom, who left girlfriend Katy Perry at home, set pulses racing in his dapper suit.

The ceremony was presented by Rob Brydon and saw Sheridan make her big return to the spotlight at the event after being shortlisted in the Best Musical Performance category.

Prince William was also at the event and gave the Royal seal of approval.

Some of Britain’s finest acting talent were there including Ralph Fiennes, Sir Ian McKellen, Sir Michael Gambon and Sir Patrick Stewart.

Sir Michael, who famously played Dumbledore in the Harry Potter films, told London Live: “I’m just waiting for one of these blokes to give me a part in one of their plays, where I’m like a butler and I come on every two minutes and don’t know what I’m doing and I don’t speak much.”
