Trying for a baby sucked the fun out of sex – I only got pregnant when we stopped, reveals Love Island’s Montana Brown
LOVE Island star Montana Brown has confessed that trying for a baby sucked the fun out of having sex.
The reality star revealed that she is expecting her first child back in December last year and yesterday revealed they're having a boy.
Montana took to Instagram to share the happy news in an adorable video with her boyfriend Mark O'Connor, 29.
The mum-to-be recently revealed that the couple, who went Instagram official in October 2021, started to put so much pressure on themselves to fall pregnant.
Montana said: “I was peeing on sticks, waiting for that smiley face which showed I was ovulating and sex became so regimented.
"After six months, it had sucked the fun out of it and neither of us were enjoying it.

"I was like, ‘I don’t even want to look at my partner!’"
However as soon as they relaxed, it all fell into place.
Montana added to OK! magazine: "We had to stop being fixated and go back to enjoying our relationship where we weren’t only having sex for a purpose.
"As soon as we took the focus off, that’s when it happened."
After feeling unwell in October last year, Mark pleaded with Montana to take a pregnancy test - but she wasn't convinced that she was expecting.
Little did she know that Mark was right.
Montana explained: "We’d had sex once, maybe twice the month before and so I was like, ‘Don’t be ridiculous, it’s not even a possibility.
“I’d been sick in the evenings and was having shooting pains in my tummy, but it wasn’t what I thought early pregnancy would feel like. I only took the test to stop Mark annoying me about it!”
The star, who is due in June, showed off her growing baby bump as she took an ice bath plunge last month.
Taking a selfie in the bathroom mirror in a black bikini and her baby bump on show, Montana joked on her Instagram Stories: "A lil preggo ice plunge and by ice plunge this is what I mean..."
She confessed that she barely lasted a second in the water before jumping out, recoiling from the temperature.
Montana joked: "This totally counts don't take it away from me!"
