Celebs who stripped off for Playboy – including star whose naked shoot was directed by MUM & Katie Price’s ‘dream’ cover
IN its heyday, Playboy was world famous for its bunny emblem, wild parties and the magazine's saucy front cover photo shoots.
At one point anyone who was anyone wanted to appear on the publication's front page.
However, the title ceased publication three years ago, and the brand has had more than its fair share of controversy over the years.
Now, as the iconic magazine announces a comeback - with an Only Fans style twist - we take a look back at some of the biggest celebrities who've stripped off for the mag.
Daisy Lowe
Model Daisy, now 34, was scouted and made her fashion debut in 2006 with a shoot for Vogue Italia, and went on to pose in GQ, Tatler, Vogue and Marie Claire.
However her most risqué feature was a naked shoot for Playboy in 2011.

Speaking about stripping off to The Guardian, she said: “I have done naked shoots, which means everyone thinks I’m a deviant, but I think the female form is something to be celebrated.
“The male form, too, but I don’t have one of those.
"I have to become a character to have the confidence to take my clothes off. If I was Daisy, I’d be an awkward nightmare.”
She also said her grandmother had actually encouraged her to take the job, saying: "Oh darling, if you’ve got it, flaunt it, you’ll be happy about it when you’re 60."

Kim Kardashian
Back in 2007, Kim Kardashian, 42, and mum became an iconic mother-daughter duo, when Kris uttered the now immortal words "You're doing amazing sweetie!" - while directing Kim's naked Playboy shoot.
The momager directed and took behind-the-scenes photos of her daughter as she posed completely naked for her Playboy cover.
At the time, Kim started off with lingerie and bathing suits before stripping down completely.
The shoot featured on series one of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
Kelly Brook
Brit model Kelly Brook, 43, got pulses racing when she graced the cover back in 2010 wearing nothing but a bowler hat, bow tie and lace knickers.
While she looked sensational, Kelly did admit to feeling "a little self-conscious" to follow so many "perfect" models who'd featured on the cover before.
Speaking at the time, she said: "I was able to produce an amazing photo shoot that I know when I’m old and grey, I can look back on and go, oh my God, that was me when people were interested in seeing me scantily clad."
Katie Price
Mum-of-five Katie Price - who recently underwent her 16th boob job - appeared topless in the September 2002 issue of the iconic magazine.
At that time the now 44-year-old was glamour modelling under the alter-ego name Jordan, and briefly lived in the Playboy mansion too.
Recently, Katie described being on the cover as a "dream come true", and she grew close and was pictured with founder Hugh Hefner while promoting the shoot.
Heidi Montag
The Hills star Heidi, 36, appeared on the cover of Playboy in 2009 when she was just 22, and was reportedly paid $500k for the shoot.
The reality TV personality donned a white bikini and got down and dirty in mud with a bunny symbol across her abs.
While she didn't pose fully naked, Heidi said at the time: "I think we're born naked. We die naked.
"I don't think it's something to be ashamed of. I think the body is a beautiful piece of artwork that God created. I have nothing to be ashamed of."
Naomi Campbell
She's one of the original supermodels, so Playboy must have been delighted when Naomi Campbell, 52, agreed to pose for the Christmas issue in 1999.
The star looked sensational in a barely-there bra and thong, with the slogan 'Naomi Campbell: Incredibly nude' emblazoned across the cover.
She isn't the only Brit catwalk model to choose to pose for the publication either.
Kate Moss donned bunny ears and a mask in 2013 for Playboy's 60th anniversary edition - which also marked her 40th birthday.
Kylie Jenner
Mum-of-two Kylie, 25, starred in Playboy in 2019 at the age of 22, with the shoot directed by then-boyfriend Travis Scott.
Interestingly the cover didn't show Kylie's face in the shot, instead focusing on her body, dressed in lacy red lingerie and adorned with a Playboy diamond necklace.
In the accompanying interview, which was conducted by Scott, Kylie commented: "You can be sexy and still be a badass mom."
Pamela Anderson
Pamela Anderson has actually graced the cover of Playboy more than any other star, and first appeared in the magazine in 1989.
She was on the cover 14 times over the years, before landing her iconic role in Baywatch in 1992.
In the Disney series Pam & Tommy, Lily James recreated her first shoot, which saw her strip down to her lingerie.
Reflecting on the shoot, Pamela said: "They got the cover in the first roll of film because I was in tears thinking, "Oh my God, this woman, she touched my boob, this is not for me."
"And then, after a while shooting, I became so comfortable they had to stop before I walked out of the studio door nude."
Lindsay Lohan
Mean Girls actress Lindsay, 36, channelled Hollywood icon Marilyn Monroe for her cover moment in 2011, with platinum blonde curls and rose red lips.
She was reportedly paid $1million, and the shoot was tasteful and demure, showing Lindsay sitting on a red Playboy bunny cut-out chair.

They reportedly had to shoot twice however, as Hugh Hefner was unhappy with the outcome of the original version.
Speaking to the New York Post, he said: "It's a classic tribute, inspired by the original Tom Kelley nude pictorial of Marilyn Monroe. [It's] classy, very classy."
