Jodie Marsh reveals her dogs have saved her from depression

THE glamour model has turned to her pet pooches during her time of need

UNLUCKY-IN-LOVE Jodie Marsh has healed her recent heartbreak with the help of her six dogs and branded them the "world's best anti depressant" as she battles through the breakdown of her marriage.

The former glamour model split with husband James Placido in April, with the busty star then being accused and arrested for harassment after allegations from her ex.

Yet by her side throughout was her band of furry friends and Jodie, 37, gushed they were "more loyal than any human you'll ever meet."

She said: "I truly think that they're the world's best anti-depressant.

"I really think if you have a dog that you can't possibly be sad all of the time because of what they bring to your life every single day.

"My dogs are my family and I do feel like they're all my kids.

"They mean more to me than anyone and if I had to choose between dogs and people I'd choose a dog every time.

"Their love is unconditional."

The Page Three star turned bodybuilder showed her love for one of her pooches, rottweiler Ralph, with a tattoo of him earlier this year.

And instead of getting broody for a baby, she confessed she gets cravings to give yet another dog a home.

She said: "I'll rescue dogs for the rest of my life, but every so often you want a puppy and I love puppy breath (laughs). Rosie as a puppy was just heavenly."

Jodie added to : "Dogs enrich your life in so many ways. They're amazing company and you never feel alone. They bring you love, comfort and happiness on a daily basis and can get you out of the house for a walk, even when you don't want to go.

"They are the best thing you could possibly have in terms of company, laughter and love."

Yesterday Jodie updated her followers on the antics of her furry friends with an Instagram post showing doggie bedtime.

The image showed four of her dogs cuddled up close in a huge red dog bed while Ralph missed out, instead lying on a soft grey mat.
She captioned the image: "There were 4 in the bed and the little one said ..... Naaaaaw I can't cope!!!!!

"All four are now in the new @tuffies_dog_beds bed and Ralph STILL hasn't had a look in.

"Hahahaha Love my furry family."

Her confession comes in the same week she seemed to hint estranged husband James hadn't signed their divorce papers.

Jodie claims that he still won’t legally break their union.

Taking to Twitter on Monday night, she posted: “Oh hi, just a quickie, maybe any little boys/men/humans that haven’t yet signed their divorce papers should you know, SIGN THEM……

“Unless of course you WANT to stay married….??? But that would be weird wouldn’t it?! Yes. That would be weird…..

“And of course it would be even weirder to WANT to stay married, if say, for example, you were claiming your wife was harassing you…..”

Last month the harassment charges against Jodie filed by her estranged husband have been dropped.

She claimed she was arrested and charged with harassment following a dispute with estranged husband back in June after allegedly bombarding her ex James Placido with text messages.
