Danniella Westbrook shows off HD brows – and teases new brunette locks

DANNIELLA Westbrook is on a one-woman mission to discover whether brunettes have more fun than their blonde counterparts, switching her bright blonde locks and even her eyebrows to a dark and mysterious shade.

The ex EastEnders actress underwent a complete image re-vamp as she enjoyed a break from work in Liverpool.

Danniella, 43, took to her Instagram account to firstly update her fans on her trip to the hairdressers, posting an image of her swathed in a black cape and with foils in her hair.

The snap, taken with the help of the salon mirror, didn’t show her face and she wrote in the caption: “Brunette in the making,” followed up with the hashtag #scoused.

The troubled TV star, who has been in and out of hospital with septicaemia for the past four weeks, had a huge swell of support from her followers who said she was “looking fab.”

One wrote: “Oh yes you’re coming over to the dark side, can’t wait to see it,” while another added: “Yay welcome to the brunette crew.”

Another praised her feisty character and posted: “Such a strong woman, full of courage and don’t give a sh*t attitude to the haters.”

Clearly eager to make her brunette style seem as natural as possible the former cocaine addict made sure her eyebrows were on-point too.

Salon Lip Couture Liverpool took to their own account on the photo-sharing site to reveal before-and-after shots of her brows, which had been given a special HD treatment and darker colour.

They added the words: “Doing the lovely @danniellawestbrook HD brows ….. looking forward to our exciting plans.”

Danniella meanwhile seemed more worried about her face on the image, as she replied: “How bad are my scars from car crash.”

The mum has been known by fans for her bottle blonde hairstyle ever since she started playing Sam Mitchell aged 16 in the BBC soap.

She recently returned to Albert Square for emotional scenes in the run-up to Mitchell matriarch Peggy’s death from cancer yet her stint wasn’t a permanent one.

This year, she also experimented with a Barbie pink hair dye and revealed her new look on ITV show Loose Women.

Recently she has faced tough times after being hospitalised and seemingly spent today enjoying some TLC.

Last week her spokesperson told us: “Danniella has been in hospital on and off for the last four weeks with septicaemia, caused by her teeth.

“Steel rods going into her gum have caused an infection and therefore she is wearing a plaster with a sponge in her nose to stop the infection spreading.”
