Spice Girls holding crunch talks for reunion ahead of King Charles’ Coronation
THE Spice Girls are in crunch talks to reunite for a gig at the King’s Coronation in May.
Melanie C, 49, revealed that the pop icons are still thrashing out a plan.
The ’90s band, which also includes Victoria Beckham, 48, Emma Bunton and Melanie Brown, both 47, and Geri Horner, 50, last performed as a five-piece at the 2012 London Olympic Games.
Mel C said: “We’re still chatting, it’s just about finding a middle ground for everybody.
“Will Victoria join? I’m an optimist so I’ll say yes!”
“As we get older, the Spice Girls are learning the need to give each other space.

“In the ‘90s, we would go 24/7.
“We were young, we were ambitious, we were under a lot of pressure, we were knackered and there were flare-ups.
“All bands have similar stories, but as time has gone on, we just have that real respect and appreciation for each other.
“Because we know without each other, we never would have achieved what we did and we wouldn’t have the lives and careers that we have now, so it’s quite beautiful.

“I love it when bands get back together after a break of five or 10 years because you know they probably appreciate it more than ever.”
If Victoria agreed to the reunion it would mean that her husband and former England captain David Beckham, 47, would be in the spotlight for his long-awaited knighthood.
In 2003 Beckham, who played 115 times for England and was captain for six years, was awarded an OBE for services to football.
He received it from the late Queen at Buckingham Palace, watched by Victoria, sons Brooklyn, 23, and Romeo, 20.
