Fans in uproar after Beyonce’s mum tweets and deletes picture of Solange and Jay Z in a lift
Tina Knowles posted the seemingly innocent picture after Solange's SNL debut
BEYONCE'S mum Tina Knowles has caused outrage on social media after posting a picture of daughter Solange and Jay Z in an elevator together.
But the matriarch swiftly deleted the image, perhaps after realising its reference to the infamous 2014 Met Gala incident which saw Solange punch and kick her brother-in-law while the family were in a lift.
Tina, 62, uploaded the smiling snap of Jay Z alongside Solange and Solange's son Daniel Jules Smith Jr.
Taken as the family supported the singer at her Saturday Night Live debut, where she performed on stage.
In the picture, Solange appears to be having a chat with her son as Jay Z looks on.
But the image brought back reminders of the 2014 incident where video footage showed Solange attacking Jay Z with a bodyguard attempting to hold her back.

All the while, Beyonce is in the same lift showing no emotion to the events unfolding before her.
Fans commented online: "Tina Knowles knows what she's doing" and "Now look what she started!!"
One person added: "Why would Jigga put himself in that position again."
While another joked: "Solange like 'fix your face boy ask your uncle Jay what happened the last time somebody tried me in an elevator'."
After the Met Gala drama, the relatives issued a joint statement which read: "Jay and Solange each assume their share of responsibility for what has occurred.
";They both acknowledge their role in this private matter that has played out in the public.
"They both have apologized to each other and we have moved forward as a united family."
But it seems to be a case of happy families now as both Beyonce and Jay Z joined Solange at the SNL afterparty on Saturday night to celebrate her debut performance.
