Boots Christmas advert 2016 is here! When is it on TV and what’s it all about?
IT’S THAT time of year again when all the high street stores battle it out to see which one will have the most-talked about Christmas advert.
Today, Boots take on John Lewis, Marks and Spencer and Sainsbury’s with their festive offering, which celebrates the millions of British women who work over the holiday.
The high street pharmacist even got Kylie to sing the theme tune!
So what do we know about the advert?
What’s it all about?
Boots decided to celebrate its biggest spenders this Christmas but also focus on the half a million women who work on Christmas Day.
It decided to give them a special gift and treat them to a Christmas makeover as its way of saying thanks for all their hard work.
In the video, real life paramedics, nurses and firefighters are seen at the end of a shift walking into a huge room that has been set up with dressing tables where make-up artists, hairdressers and stylists are waiting to pamper them.
And once they were primped and preened and feeling good, they strutted their stuff out onto a dance floor to surprise their family and friends.
What’s the theme song?
Kylie Minogue got in the studio to sing an exclusive recording of the 1992 chart hit Everybody’s Free (To Feel Good), which they have used for their ad campaigns this year.
When does it make its first TV appearance?
The 60 second advert airs for the first time tomorrow at 7.30pm during Coronation Street.
