First Dates fans left outraged as Ben flirts with waitress Laura behind his date’s back
The singleton had been on a date with fantasy writer Daisy
VIEWERS couldn’t hide their disgust at the ungentlemanly behaviour of hairdresser Ben as he flirted with waitress Laura Tott when his date had left the table on First Dates.
Fans got their first sign of Ben’s bad behaviour when Ben waved a kiss as the waitresses on his way to his table on Monday night’s episode.
And he continued to keep his eye on waitress Laura every time she approached the table.
When fantasy writer Daisy went to the toilet and Laura attempted to make polite conversation, Ben said: “You’re pretty hot. I’d be very happy if you were sat there to.”
To which Laura replied: “Yep, but I’m not. I’m your waitress.”
One First Dates viewer wrote: “no wonder some of the guests on @FirstDates are single when they act like the guy tonight.Absolutely no respect for his date or @laura_tott.”
While another fan tweeted: “Well done Daisy for ditching that idiot… wayyy too good for him!”
One viewers vented: “pretty sure hitting on your waitress is on the list of things not to do on a first date Ben.”
Even Laura had to share her reaction when the episode aired as she shared a screen grab from the episode along with the caption: “If all else fails, hide behind your tray or simply face plant the bar top #cringe.”
First Dates air on Monday at 10pm on Channel 4.
