Inside the Brit Awards after-party with A-list stars, free champagne and black cod canapes
SONY Music is making sure its Brit Awards after-party is the wildest yet.
With unlimited champagne and cocktails for the stars, organisers are pulling out all the stops for their VIP guests.
Harry Styles is thought to be among the big names going to Nobu Hotel London Portman Square on Saturday, heading there after his performance at the show.
A source said: “Sony Music is going all-out for its bash, with Laurent-Perrier champagne and cocktails including spiced margaritas on tap.
“Harry is expected to attend and party organisers have ensured they’ve got plenty of his favourite tequila to hand.
“Hugo is sponsoring the event, so the celebs can expect extravagant touches throughout the night.

“They are pulling out all the stops with the food too and the hotel’s Nobu restaurant will be serving black cod, lobster truffle and unlimited sushi.”
VIPs including Calvin Harris, Mimi Webb and George Ezra are also on the guest list.
It won’t just be a sore head they will be leaving with, as Hugo has put together a very impressive gift bag.
My insider added: “They will be given a Debbie Thomas facial worth almost £1,000, an overnight stay in a 5-star hotel and a range of posh products from companies including Diptyque, Elizabeth Arden, FaceGym and, of course, Sony.”
Christmas has come early.
Julia's no waister
WAIST bands aren’t fashion waste for Julia Fox, as she proved in this outfit.
She wore a dress made out of old jeans for a pre-fashion week event in New York on Tuesday night.
But the actress, who dated Kanye West last year, seemed to defy gravity with the recycled dress that had no back or sides and left plenty on show.
Temperatures fell to 2C in the Big Apple, so thankfully she had a coat to cover her – made of denim, of course.
Julia was applauded recently after giving a TikTok tour of her tiny New York apartment, revealing she sleeps in the living room and has a rodent problem.
She said: “I’m not worth $30million”, then insisted she doesn’t splash cash on designer gear.
Julia added: “You guys are like, ‘She wears thousands of dollars’ worth of couture’. It’s borrowed couture. And most of the clothes I wear are from young designers who are starting out.”
Madonna blasts: I’ve never said sorry for the way I look
MADONNA has hit back at critics who poked fun at her face at the Grammy Awards.
The singer’s look was talked about at length following her appearance at the weekend ceremony, but she has accused her detractors of being ageist and misogynist.
She wrote in an Instagram post: “Many people chose to only talk about close-up photos of me taken with a long lens camera by a press photographer that would distort anyone’s face!!
“Once again, I am caught in the glare of ageism and misogyny that permeates the world we live in.
“A world that refuses to celebrate women past the age of 45 and feels the need to punish her if she continues to be strong-willed, hard-working and adventurous.
“I have never apologised for any of the creative choices I have made, nor the way that I look or dress and I’m not going to start.
“I understand that this is all a test and I am happy to do the trailblazing so that all the women behind me can have an easier time in the years to come.
“In the words of Beyonce, ‘You won’t break my soul,’
“I look forward to many more years of subversive behaviour, pushing boundaries, standing up to the patriarchy – and most of all enjoying my life.”
Ellie chutes from the hip
IT was all stripe on the night for Ellie Goulding as she debuted her new album live.
The Love Me Like You Do singer looked like she had made an outfit from a parachute as she performed at historic London venue Koko.
She was left close to tears after a couple got engaged in the audience as she sang her 2016 hit Still Falling For You.
But Ellie, whose album Higher Than Heaven drops on March 24, got worked up later when she told fans to put phones away.
She said: “Put them in your pockets. I looked back at old festival and gig footage and everyone is just living in the moment and feeling free.”
Spotting someone on a video call, she said: “I appreciate you are on FaceTime but say goodbye, I love you and thank you for watching.”
Anna big on Met loo rules
MET Gala organiser Anna Wintour has been forced to up security inside the event’s toilets due to “messy” antics by celebrities.
It is the most exclusive night of the year, with tickets costing a reported £30,000.
Lifting the lid on what goes on at the New York bash, British singer Rita Ora said: “Over the years it was fun in the bathrooms.
“But now they have high security in there. It’s that strict. They know everyone gets messy.”
The event, which takes place in May and will be co-hosted by Dua Lipa, Penelope Cruz and Roger Federer, has a strict no-selfie policy.
However, ever since Kylie Jenner posted a celeb-packed snap from the mirror in the toilets a few years ago, more and more pictures have leaked out from the event.
US Vogue editor Anna, who personally signs off each guest, is said to loathe the new tradition, preferring guests to actually talk to one another than have their head in their phones all night.
Hear, hear.
Rapper Drake has wax factor
WAXWORKS don’t tend to look that similar to the celebrity they are supposed to portray – but Madame Tussauds has pulled off the impossible with Drake.
The London attraction has created a dead ringer for the Canadian rapper, which will go on display in time for half-term.
The figure is styled in the outfit he wore for his surprise performance at the 2021 Wireless Festival in South London.
As a big fan of the UK, I imagine it won’t be long before he pops up to see it himself.
Saying that, Drake hasn’t toured over here since 2019.

He seems to have gone quiet on the music front since the release of his last album Honestly, Nevermind last summer.
So for the time being, this might be the closest any of his fans can get to him.
