Liam Gallagher told to mend rift with brother Noel — to give their mum Peggy an 80th birthday to remember
LIAM Gallagher has been told to mend his rift with brother Noel — to give their mum an 80th birthday to remember.
The singer, 50, took mum on a spa break ahead of her big day tomorrow.
And during the family trip she urged him to kiss and make up with big brother and former Oasis bandmate Noel, 55.
An insider said: “In recent years there has been distance within the family, especially with Liam and Noel at war.
“Peggy has told Liam to mend the rift and she is hoping there will be genuine reconciliation.
“Peggy was in a reflective mood and it would be the best birthday present if they’d finally make some steps towards patching up their feud.”

The brothers have barely spoken since the band’s acrimonious split in 2009.
The plea came as Liam took Peggy to five-star Cliveden House, in Berkshire, last weekend.
They spent two days there with his fiancée, Debbie Gwyther, and his three kids Molly, 24, Lennon, 23, and Gene, 21, and older brother Paul.
Liam was said to be in great heart as he knocked back rum and cokes.
