Pixie, who has also worked as a model and sang in under-the-radar band Violet, has released her own collection of love songs, I'm Yours.

The album includes a track about Pixie's late sister Peaches, who died of a heroin overdose at the age of 25 in 2014.

The song is called Twin Thing and includes the heart-breaking lyrics: "Wish I'd know you like my own skin/So I could feel the hurt you were in/Wish we had that twin thing" and "Thought I would know at the first sign/That you'd started giving in/Always the first in the water/Now you were just too tired to swim".

Twin Thing, by Pixie Geldof — full lyrics

Into the wave where you're going
I watch you falling down
I knew you better before this
But never like I knew myself
Wish I'd known you like my own skin
So I could feel the hurt you were in
Wish we had that twin thing
For now, so long
I hope it's not forever
I hope it's not forever
Wherever you are going
Hope it's heavenly to you forever
Hope it's heavenly to you forever
Thought I would know at the first sign
That you'd started giving in
Always the first in the water
Now you were just too tired to swim
Wish I could feel it for you
But wishes won't do anything
Wish we had that twin thing
For now, so long
I hope it's not forever
I hope it's not forever
Wherever you are going
Hope it's heavenly to you forever
Hope it's heavenly to you forever
I see you in every dream that I have
I see you through lying awake knowing
I missed it, oh
Knowing I let you down
With nothing to be done now
For now, so long
I hope it's not forever
I hope it's not forever
Wherever you are going
Hope it's heavenly to you forever
Hope it's heavenly to you forever

In a statement about the album, Pixie said: "I’m Yours represents every single human I’ve ever loved in my life.

"Songs of love in every form, platonically, family, in romance. I’m a part of these people’s lives and I’m theirs in any capacity they need me."

Peaches' widow, musician Thomas Cohen, also paid tribute to her with a song.

In the track, Bloom Forever, Thomas sings: "You couldn't make it through/Time to say goodbye/Holding on to each other and sing to one another/Everyone knows the house feels so cold/Just to say goodbye."
