'Basically an orgy'
In 2017, while appearing as a panellist on Loose Women, she stunned co-hosts Andrea McLean, Penny Lancaster, and Janet Street-Porter by recounting her visit to a sex party.
The event was run by Killing Kittens, a high-end sex party firm founded by Kate Middleton's schoolfriend Emma Sayle, and now part-owned by the British taxpayer.
Maya was undercover as part of her 2016 documentary Swipe Right For Sex: Half-Night Stands.

"At first I was super sceptical about it and I thought, 'This is going to be so strange'," she said.
"There’s not like a sudden bell of 'it’s time to go'; slowly someone in the corner will start kissing and somebody over there will have their top off, and somebody’s in the pool."
When asked if it was like attending an orgy, Maya responded "Pretty much."
"I was in there with my producer and director who are both married men, and they were being approached by women asking them to do rude things," she recalled.

In 2021, Maya made a cheeky admission during a game on Celebrity Juice with Joe Swash and team captain Emily Atack.
It involved jumping on a trampoline acting out a sexy word while the others guessed what it was.
When Joe was in the hot seat, after a few failed guesses, Maya shouted: "69" before adding: "Love a 69," - leaving fans in hysterics.

Back in 2017, while dating Stormzy, Maya made the saucy admission that she'd be up for a threesome with her then-boyfriend.
Speaking on her podcast When Life Gives You Melons with former Love Island star Montana Brown, she said she'd allow her man to have a hall pass to sleep with Beyonce.
She joked: "I’d be like, ‘Yeah, but I’ve gotta be involved. Yeah you can do it, but we do it together, not on his own. I’m snogging Beyonce too, you are not having that fun without me!'”

The Love Island host is keen to spread the love - especially when it comes to buying her pals presents.
In a chat with , she revealed she enjoys gifting friends sex toys.
"I keep buying my friends dildos," she said.
"I don’t know if that’s silly but it’s just that a lot of my friends hadn’t ever used a dildo before and they’re 25 plus and I’m like 'Come on, it’s time. It’s time!'
"So, yeah, I’ve bought three of my friends dildos recently. I’m like the dildo provider because they were lonely and I think everyone should have a dildo."
Lockdown lovin'

Maya was also keen to ensure the public didn't miss out on sexy time over lockdown.
She encouraged people to try phone and virtual sex to keep the spark alive while in lockdown.
In an Instagram live, she said: "If you are confident enough to do it, phone sex is the movement. That’s what people have been doing for years in long distance."
She later joked: "I need to practice my sexy voice on the phone and see where it goes."
The presenter rapped about it in the third series of ITV hip-hop comedy quiz show Don’t Hate The Playaz' in October 2020.
