EastEnders SPOILER ALERT Jay hatches a desperate plan… but will a tricky customer catch him out?

Jay thought all his troubles were behind him when he stole the money from Coker & Sons to pay off his dealer – well, apart from the trouble he’s now in from having just betrayed the only people who were prepared to give him a second chance.
However, with a crippling amount of interest still to pay, the desperate lad is forced to plunge to shocking new depths.
The one plus point for Jay right now is his touching relationship with young Will.
He’s already come through for the lad once, putting Denny right when he bullied him and getting his football boots back (though weren’t they just stuffed behind that cushion on the sofa?).
Now Jay’s hoping that all that good work as Will’s guardian angel will swing things for him as he asks Billy for an advance on his wages.
Well, it’s worth a shot – after all, Billy has shown that he’s got enough faith in Jay for him to be allowed to look after the children again.
But for all that, Billy’s not the soft touch that he used to be and he turns down the request, leaving Jay struggling for excuses when he receives a phone call from his increasingly menacing dealer.
Running out of options, Jay tries to turn things around by helping Will to get back in Billy’s good books after the youngster turns his nose up at his birthday present.
However, when that doesn’t work, Jay concocts a shocking new plan – but will a difficult customer at the funeral parlour catch him out?
Libby’s back!
This has been a year of pregnancy dramas for the Fox family. First, Libby came back to have a termination after falling pregnant in the spring.
Now the tables are turned as Denise is the one fretting over the little Phil Mitchell growing inside her.
Libby is less than thrilled when Kim tells her the news, but as mum and daughter argue the toss, Libby decides she needs to stick around and help Denise with the baby.
This means a whole new regime of healthy living – and Denise and Patrick do their best to look impressed when Libby whips up a wholesome meal for them.
And if that wasn’t enough for Denise, there’s also surprising news from Zainab and an officious Minute Mart manager for her to contend with.
Kathy makes a new enemy
Hoping to take her friend’s mind off Ben’s problems, Linda suggests Kathy should get involved with the Walford Players Christmas show.
But when she goes along with Abi to sign up, Kath’s unhappy to discover it’s going to be a talent contest.
To make matters worse, the event is being organised by The Vic’s arch-rival Geraldine Clough – the landlady of The Feathers, who pulled a fast one that time when her team got a ringer in to referee the darts.
Geraldine isn’t impressed when Kathy announces what she thinks of Walford’s Got Talent and chucks her out. Kathy won’t stand for that, will she?
