THE world was left shocked when Gallagher brothers Liam and Noel called time on their iconic rock band Oasis.

He tweeted: "I wanna say Happy Xmas to team NG it's been a great year thanks for everything looking forward to seeing you tomorrow AS YOU WERE LG x"
When fans became over-excited at the prospect of a Britpop reunion, Liam answered them.
To a fan who wrote: "Team who? You're not going to have a meltdown on here come Christmas day are you Liam when NG doesn't reach out to you?"
Liam replied: "He's already reached out."
However Noel has previously said he would never reform after trolls attacked his family online.

Then again in March 2020, Liam demanded an Oasis reunion with brother Noel to raise money for the NHS amid the coronavirus crisis.

When did Oasis split up?
After forming in 1991, Oasis enjoyed a very successful career throughout the nineties with multi-platinum selling albums and sell out gigs and tours.
But Liam and Noel had a fractured relationship and their rows became legendary.
Then, in 2009, as they were about to headline the V Festival, they had a massive altercation backstage and Noel declared he was leaving.
He then went on to form High Flying Birds and Liam created his own band, Beady Eye.
